The artworks donated by the MNB arrived at the Ferenczy Museum Center yesterday.
The FMC collection will be expanded with 43 works that are closely related to the institution’s core collection, and several missing works will be deposited in Szentendre (e.g. works by Dezső Korniss, Ilona Keserü, Tamás Hencze, János Szirtes, Tamás Konok, Dóra Maurer).
The 1,422-piece 20th-century and contemporary art collection created by the Hungarian National Bank will be transferred to the Hungarian National Gallery and twenty-nine regional institutions, of which 43 works will enrich the collections of the museums in Szentendre.
