New exhibition: “HERE I AM!”

2026. 02. 02.

Our exhibition “HERE I AM” – Ritual Practices, from the Radical to the Mystical opened over the weekend, featuring selections from the private collection of economist László Gerő and the collection of the Ferenczy Museum Center.

The exhibition was opened by Márk Horváth, an aesthete and philosopher, who explained that the message of exhibitions that focus on the human body is often a veiled anthropocentrism, or an insertion into a much more extensive, natural-cultural environment beyond the body. However, there is also an intermediate path that encompasses both. Body performances can simultaneously speak of the body and humanism, while also pointing towards spheres beyond the limits of the body, which can include technology, mysticism and eroticism. The exhibition “I AM HERE!” attempts to do just that.

The atmosphere of the opening was enhanced by Hajnal Németh’s improvisational performance BREAK DANCE BREAK, which randomly combines sound and movement. Performers: Júlia Koffler (speech, vocals), Stay Fresh Crew – Dániel Erdei and Csenge Szarvák (break dance)

Curator: Brigitta Muladi

Exhibition design: Krisztina Noémi Kiss

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the opening, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the exhibition! The exhibition can be visited until April 5th at MűvészeMalom, from Thursday to Sunday.
