By car: Szentendre can be approached from Highway 11 from Budapest, Esztergom and Visegrád. Those arriving from the western bank of the Danube and from the eastern part of the country, or from Highway M0, can easily access the Museum via the Megyeri bridge.
Parking: Metered parking is available in central Szentendre and on the Danube bank. Free parking is available near Highway 11, at the intersection of the Danube Corso and Pannonia Street.
By suburban railway (HÉV): suburban rail H5 leaves approximately every half-hour from Batthány Square to Szentendre. The journey on the H5 takes 40 minutes.

By long distance bus: there are frequent buses leaving from Újpest-Városkapu bus station in Budapest (you can get there by the blue line, underground M3), as well as from Esztergom and Visegrád. Bus schedules
By bicycle: the international bicycle road, EuroVelo 6 runs through Szentendre. Thus Szentendre can be a perfect resting stop or the final destination for cycling tourists. Bicycle map
